Spring turnip greens

2 lb. turnip greens
2 c. water
1/2 c. bacon drippings
Salt to taste

Wash the turnip greens well and place in a kettle with the water. Cook for about 30 minutes or until greens are tender. Drain and chop fine. Add bacon drippings and salt and cook, stirring, until heated through.
